摘要: In this chapter, an interdisciplinary research group of sociologists and educational scientists discusses how the informational environments college students influence potential actual dropout behavior. Previous has identified academic performance social integration as key predictors student dropout. Our focus is on a further explication these aspects using information-related factors: media-related competency information behavior, perceptions fairness at college, into university life. Empirical analyses are based data from large online survey. We both intentions, stated in survey, well dropouts, shown administrative records around 1.5 years after find that several factors related to justice integration, significantly affect intentions. These findings surprisingly stable across fields study groups levels. On other hand, dropouts much harder predict comparison preferences.
