摘要: Abstract A recombinant DNA clone containing cellular sequences homologous to the transforming sequence, v-ros, of avian sarcoma virus UR2 was isolated from a chicken genomic library. Heteroduplex mapping and nucleotide sequencing reveal that v-ros are distributed in nine exons ranging 65 204 nucleotides on ros (c-ros) over range 11 kilobases. Comparison deduced amino acid c-ros shows two differences: contains three-amino-acid insertion within hydrophobic domain presumed be involved membrane association, (ii) carboxyl 12 acids completely different those sequence. The sequence bears striking structural features similar insulin epidermal growth factor receptors, including binding domain, flanking distance between catalytic region kinase activity. expression appears under very stringent control. When tissues at various stages development were analyzed, only kidney found contain significant level RNA. RNA tissue is most abundant 7- 14-day-old chickens. Finally, UR2-associated helper viral genome regions corresponding gag recombination site suggest junction has been formed by splicing.
