摘要: An ICP-MS instrument with a quadrupole filter is hampered by its limited resolution, in particular polyatomic ions are major source of interference. With double focusing magnetic sector mass analyser, operated at high most these interferences eliminated. In addition, analysers characterized low instrumental background, yielding superior detection limits resolution. this work new type instrument, the ‘Element’ from Finnigan MAT (Bremen, Germany), was tested. The can be used resolution (m/Δm= 300, 10% valley definition) and settings (3000 7500).
