摘要: A dynamic thermal conductivity sensor for gas detection based on the transient response of a SiC microplate slightly heated by screen-printed Pt resistance is described. This developed specific applications such as determination carbon monoxide content in hydrogen fuel cell, or that methane biogas applications. On contrary existing devices, apparatus here does not need any reference it operates mode near room temperature (�T ≈ 5 K air), so has very low power requirements (≈5 mW) and keeps equilibrium which simplifies mathematical model eases data processing. In test gases mixtures (N2 + He), absolute precise measurement have been achieved, leading to exact molar fraction detect with good reproducibility. © 2003 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
