摘要: An experimental model was established using the terminal ileum of rat for characterizing and studying effects crude cell-free extract from Clostridium perfringens upon physiological histological parameters involved in transport process. Further work done with system purified enterotoxin (protein) cell extract. Using an vivo perfusion technique it found that induces a reversal net transport, absorption controls to secretion, water, sodium, chloride. Glucose greatly inhibited, whereas potassium bicarbonate transports were unaffected. Crude also caused damage villus epithelium by denuding tips, thereby leaving lamina propria exposed. Similar responses chloride, bicarbonate, glucose toxin. Little or no resulted pure toxin activity. However, shown have capacity denude tips under proper conditions.
