摘要: Malignant gliomas are the most common primary human brain tumours, but their classification remains controversial and effective therapies remain elusive. As a result, malignant have come under intense scientific scrutiny, in hope of elucidating molecular basis glial tumourigenesis. These studies yielded insights into genetic events that underlie glioma formation progression, shown multiple distinct pathways lead to endpoint glioblastoma multiforme. Such mirror clinicopathological avenues progression suggest approaches might clinical utility coming years.
