摘要: Recently a novel hematopoietic growth factor, stem cell factor (SCF), was cloned and demonstrated to be the ligand for c-kit tyrosine kinase receptor. In mouse, SCF is encoded bySl (steel), gene critical development of several distinct lineages during embryonic life which has important effects on hematopoiesis in adult animal. TheS1/SCF locus maps distal region mouse chromosome 10, vicinity genes that have been mapped human 12. Here we report use somatic hybrid lines localizeSCF long arm 12, between 12q14.3 12qter. addition localizing theSl homolog man, these data provide further evidence conservation synteny 12 end 10.
