摘要: All organisms are able to acclimate less than optimal environmental conditions. In this chapter we discuss how Chlamydomonas reinhardtii acclimates deficiencies in macronutrients. The physiological changes that occur during macronutrient starvation can be classified as specific and common responses. Specific responses limitation for a particular nutrient, while limitationfor any nutrient.Specific include nutrient transport characteristics induction of scavenging systems. General decreases cell division, photosynthesis respiration. decrease has been shown essential surviving severe sulfur-stress mutant unable cannot survive these We propose model general regulated mutants deficient fit model.
