摘要: We have previously described the establishment of a number cell lines from Merkel carcinoma (MCC), also known as small cancer skin or neuroendocrine skin. These cells, all which grew suspension cultures, were found to resemble lung (SCLC) types 1, 2 and 3 by their morphology growth characteristics. now report 4 more MCC SCLC type in that they grow adherent monolayers. would belong variant subgroup no longer express most markers, at low density population doubling times 1-5 days contrast 6-12 days. MCC14/1 MCC14/2 established same metastatic node appear represent clones tumour differ morphology, histochemical markers DNA content. present details content immunohistochemistry these compare patterns with those suspension.
