摘要: Ground state bromine atom detection by two-photon absorption laser-induced fluorescence (TALIF) is demonstrated. The atoms are excited at 252.594 nm to the and detected 635.25 nm (5s) 4P5/2 state. generated in a radio-frequency inductively-coupled plasma pure HBr. excitation laser also causes some photodissociation of HBr molecules, but this can be minimized not focussing beam, still giving adequate signal levels. We determined natural lifetime emitting state, rate constant for quenching collision with .
