摘要: Introduction Salmonella is a common bacterial cause of foodborne diarrhea worldwide. The purpose this study was to characterize antimicrobial resistance and susceptibility biocides in enterica serotypes isolated from raw chicken meat, as well the genetic relationship between strains virulence profiles. Methods Nine (5 S. Heidelberg; 2 Enteritidis; 1 Typhimurium Meleagridis) recovered meat marketed urban area Merida, Venezuela, were studied. Phenotypic characterization based on testing detection extended-spectrum β-lactamases (ESBLs) by double-disc synergy. determined using dilution-neutralization methods. quinolone resistance-determining regions gyrA, gyrB, parC genes, bla ESBLs plasmid-mediated determinants genes (invA spvC) carried out PCR. All typed PFGE. Results Multidrug-resistance evident 6 9 However, all susceptible tested biocides. Genotypic that 5 harbored CTXM-2, 4 TEM-1 3 qnrB19 genes. positive for invA gene. spvC gene detected them. PFGE grouped into different patterns represented individual serotypes. Conclusions This provides valuable information antibiotic resistance, biocide profiles, content diversity evidenced health risk consumers.
