摘要: DNA sequencing is now faster and cheaper than ever before, due to the development of next generation (NGS) technologies. NGS widely used in research setting becoming increasingly utilised clinical practice. However, evolving commitments, increased workload lack training opportunities, many oncologists may be unfamiliar with terminology technology involved. This can lead feeling daunted by issues such as how interpret vast amounts data generated differences between platforms. review article explains common concepts terminology, summarises process (including analysis) discusses main factors consider when deciding on a method. aims improve oncologists' understanding most commonly platforms ongoing challenges faced expanding use into routine
