摘要: pRb2/p130 is a key tumor suppressor, whose oncosuppressive activity has mainly been attributed to its ability negatively regulate cell cycle by interacting with the E2F4 and E2F5 transcription factors. Indeed, found altered in various cancer types which it functions as valuable prognostic marker. Here, we analyzed expression gastric tissue samples of diffuse histotype, comparison their normal counterparts. We cytoplasmic localization samples, whereas, counterparts, observed expected nuclear localization. delocalization can lead deregulation, but considering emerging involvement other cellular processes, could contribute tumorigenesis also through mechanisms. Our data support necessity further investigations verify possibility using biomarker or potential therapeutic target for cancer. J. Cell. Physiol. 230: 802–805, 2015. © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
