摘要: Establishing in vivo glioblastoma models from cell lines requires a very strict methodology, order to obtain reproducible tumors presenting all the characteristics of human spontaneous glioblastomas. In this respect, we have developed model Wistar rats by stereotaxic intracerebral transplantation 10 μl suspension 6 × 106 C6 cells grown vitro. The tumor take was high these conditions, only 1 rat over 30 had no tumor. median survival time varied 14 20 days. growth curve has revealed an exponential up 10th day after with doubling 36 h. Histological examination shown several characteristic features glioblastomas, such as neovasculature, parenchymal invasion, nuclear pleiomorphism, and presence hemorragic necrotic areas. This is closer usual histological glioblastomas when using rather than other strain, it should be used that way for preclinical therapeutic evaluation new drugs or drug combinations glioblastoma.
