Evaluating websites from a public value perspective: A review of Turkish local government websites

摘要: Abstract Government website evaluations do not always reflect the websites’ aims. Often, only aspects such as content and quality are considered, whereas primary goal of these websites is to deliver public value. In this paper we introduce value perspective for evaluation. A meta-analysis evaluation literature presented, findings being that there no uniform or comprehensive set metrics largely neglected in literature. Next, describe how integrated web order develop a criteria used evaluating sixteen Turkish local governments. The performed relatively well on traditional indicators, but less values measures. particular, found good at supporting requests, categorization usability, satisfactory providing platforms citizen engagement, responsiveness dialog. Finally, argue should be incorporated other efforts.
