摘要: MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are small noncoding RNA molecules that regulate protein expression by cleaving or repressing the translation of target mRNAs. In mammals, their function mainly represses mRNA transcripts via imperfect complementary sequences in 3′UTR Several miRNAs have been recently reported to be involved modulation glioma development, especially some upregulated miRNAs, such as microRNA-21 (miR-21), which has found an oncogene cultured glioblastoma multiforme cells. Temozolomide (TMZ), alkylating agent, is a promising chemotherapeutic agent for treating glioblastoma. Although chemotherapy with temozolomide may contain tumor growth months, invariable recurrence suggests cancer stem cells maintaining these tumors persist. Previous research showed TMZ could inhibit proliferation human (GSC), but not induced apoptosis, supply chance recurrence. Accumulating evidence indicated downregulation miR-21 caused repression and increased all theoretically enhance effects therapy. this study, we aimed explore whether induce apoptosis on GSC. Interestingly, results demonstrated either inhibitor However, combined significantly enhanced GSC apoptosis. Taken together, combination effective therapeutic strategy prevent potential
