摘要: Abstract Rationale and Objectives The authors evaluated the use of T1-weighted magnetic resonance (MR) imaging with Gadophrin-3 enhancement plain T2-weighted MR to detect quantify breast tumor necrosis. Materials Methods Twenty EMT-6 tumors (mouse mammary sarcoma), implanted into fat pad BALB/c-AnNCrl mice, underwent fast field echo sequences before 24 hours after injection Gadophrin-3, a new necrosis-avid contrast agent. Tumor necrosis on images was quantified by means dedicated segmentation program correlated histologic findings. Results In all central revealed histopathologic analysis, seen images. Small (diameter, 1 cm) enhanced mainly in periphery necrotic tissue. Plain showed hyperintense area only three 20 cases large Conclusion Gadophrin-3–enhanced are superior for detection murine xenograft model.
