摘要: Abstract. The anti-apoptotic gene, B-cell lymphoma-2 (Bcl-2), has been reported to be overexpressed in gliomas and is related tumor prognosis, suggesting a potential therapeutic target. Additionally, recent studies have demonstrated the existence of brain glioma stem cells (BGSCs) which are tumorigenic, self-renewable dominate biological behavior gliomas. Currently BGSCs committed as new target therapies. However, few focused on expres-sion Bcl-2 BGSCs. We performed series experiments culture from eight clinical specimens, followed by real-time RT-PCR immunoassays compare levels their corresponding primary (PGCs). results showed that mRNA protein expression higher compared counterparts, malignancies. As an assigns immortality characteristics cells, coincide with pivotal feature experimental indicated would evade apoptosis for expression, may interpret drug resistance cytotoxic drugs other pro-apoptotic agents. New therapies targeting must induce BGSCs, thus, resulting treatment or even eradication glioma.
